Church History & Purpose

Cloverdale United Methodist Church was established in 1954, and has strived to be a presence of Methodist tradition in the Cloverdale community.  In recognition of the constant changing needs of our community, our purpose remains today to provide a most significant arena through which individuals may come to know the grace and truth of God's self revelation through Jesus Christ.       

Sunday School Classes

Church Groups & Activities

The United Methodist Men (UMM) meet every 4th Sunday morning at 7:00 am for breakfast.  Cloverdale's Men also sponsor a Sunday School men's breakfast every 2nd Tuesday at 7:00 am.

The United Methodist Women (UMW) is comprised of three circles:  the Mae Dee Dobbs Circle which meets the 1st Tuesday of each month at 9:30 am, the Koinonia Circle which meets the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 pm, and the Lois Smart Circle which meets the 2nd Monday of each month at 6:00 pm.

The "Morning Glories", a ladies devotional group, is presently meeting at 8:30 am at Atlanta Bread Co. every 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month.

The "Good Timers", an activity program for our seniors, is gathering on the 3rd Thursday of every month for fun, entertainment, instruction, and lunch at 10:30 am.

7:00 pm Adult Choir Practice

A nursery is provided on Wednesday evenings.
